Gilding and restoring Gable stones and Coat of arms

Schitterend can apply gold leaf on building ornaments of various surfaces. For example on plaster, plaster board, stucco, wood and even on (metal) cast iron architectural parts and ornaments. Besides that Schitterend can also gild brick ornaments, gable stones and plaques.

Coat of arms, escutcheons and family crests are often made of cast iron. Before gold leaf can be applied most of the times first some form of restoration will have to take place. Schitterend can do this for you as well. First the cast iron will be painted with a strong paint (enamel paint). Then the gold leaf accents are added.

Do you have  a flat family crest, coat of arm, or escutcheon and do you want to convert it to a 3D model? Schitterend will do this for you. Erik Winkler converts the drawing to a 3D model in iron or wood. Then he paints everything in the desired colors and finishes it off by gilding some accents.
